Why us?

We responded to an advert in the Christian press about a vacancy in the Business Development team. Cinnamon primarily needed some support with their trust fundraising. They were happy to employ someone in a freelance capacity and, after an interview and a face to face meeting, Sarah was delighted to be appointed to this role.

Fundraising Strategy, Advice and Trust Fundraising Support

Over the course of a year, Sarah provided a range of support to the Development Team and the wider organisation. This included adding capacity to the small team by providing bid writing support and reviewing applications and reports prior to submission. Sarah then went on to help develop a fundraising strategy, providing coaching and ‘sounding board’ support to the Head of Business Development.

What difference did we make?

“Working with Fundraising Consultants Ltd has proved very significant for our charity. During a season of significant transition and development, Sarah provided expert, practical and highly usable advice to help us develop our fundraising strategy, refine our approach and improve our productivity. Having worked with a variety of fundraising consultants, I can only commend the relational and hands-on approach of Fundraising Consultants Ltd, which is distinctive and can help to achieve a step-change in the way a charity considers fundraising.”
– Paul Garratt, Head of Business Development, Cinnamon Network.

“I have been working with Sarah whilst she has been supporting Cinnamon’s work. Sarah’s input has been a mix of strategic and operational. Her background knowledge in trusts fundraising has been a great help, both in drafting original copy for bids, and reviewing and critiquing work within the team. Sarah is also giving significant insights into our strategic development, helping us to identify priorities, and generate clear and realistic plans to take our fundraising on the next stage of its journey. I highly recommend Sarah for her professional skills, and her personal approach.
